TT Week & Manx Grand Prix Week

TT Week is usually the first week in June with a week of practices preceding it. During these two weeks the Island is flooded with motorbike enthusiasts and really comes alive.

Manx Grand Prix Week is usually the first week in September and also has a week of practices preceding it. It also attracts many visitors but is not quite as busy as the TT.

As Willow Nook Cottages are situated on the famous TT course the road is closed during the practices and races. However, there is a Marshalling station at the end of our lane (the famous Westwood Corner just before Kirk Michael) so crossing the road is easy between races. Opposite our lane entrance is a Nature Reserve which you can walk through to emerge on the Peel coast road from which you can access the rest of the Island's roads.

When the roads are closed the emergency helicopter lands in our front field if necessary!
